#19 The Stable
Remember how I asked you to help Mary and Joseph find a room- something with a door, probably a bed, preferably something comfortable? Even though this isn't what we would have planned or picked out for Jesus' birth, this is exactly what God has had planned all along. God knew that none of the inns would have any room. He knew that Jesus would be born here and not in a castle. Do you hear that? It's baby noises! Jesus has been born! He doesn't have fancy blankets; these are just simple swaddling clothes. He doesn't have a special crib; it's just a manger. That's what the animals eat their food out of. The God of the universe, the King of the world, is here as a little baby. People need to know! Guess what? Somewhere there are people finding out about Jesus' birth.
