#23 What is Mary thinking?

The shepherds run off to tell the good news to everyone, and while the majority of people are surprised, Mary is not. Remember, she had a visit from an angel nine months ago telling her everything about Jesus' miraculous virgin birth. She has had plenty of time to think about everything the angel told her and what it means. Mary's experience with the shepherds confirms what she already knows about baby Jesus. He is the Son of God, and He has come to save the world.
